All sales are final. We are happy to replace any product that does not meet your expectations with a similar product.
We reserve the right to substitute a similar product if necessary.
CSA Agreement
Thank you for becoming a CSA member with Common Root Farm! We are excited to grow veggies for you this year and we greatly appreciate your commitment to supporting your local farm.
The details and expectations of the program are outlined below. We look forward to providing you, and your family, farm fresh veggies.
-Pick up is on the farm at 18021 Bowie Mill Road, Derwood, MD 20855 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
-Each share will include 5-7 different veggies. Spring shares tend to be lighter. The shares will become more diverse and abundant as we move into the summer.
-Each week you will receive an email reminder for your CSA pick-up, as well as some recipe ideas to accommodate that week’s share.
CSA Pickup Flexibility
-If you know ahead of time that you will miss certain pick-ups (due to vacation or travel), please notify us and we will send you a code for a pro-rated discount.
-We understand that life is unpredictable, if you are unable to pick up your share last minute we encourage you to share your share with a neighbor or friend.
-We will also offer two occasions to make up a missed share. You will have the option of either doubling up on another week or picking up your share at an alternative date and time. It is required to communicate any such instances at least 2 days prior to the missed pick-up date in order to receive farm credit.
-If you miss pick up without notifying us, we will hold your share for 24 hours.
CSA Refunds
-We want the CSA program to be a great experience for you. We will do everything we can to provide an abundant share for you each week. However, due to the nature of farming (pests, disease, rain, drought, temperatures etc.), if we encounter a situation where we are unable to deliver a full CSA share in any given week, we will source produce from other local organic growers or provide a pro-rated refund or farm stand credit. We are unable to provide refunds as we will purchase seeds, amendments, and other resources with your support. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call or email us.
Farm Card Agreement
Our Farm Card can be used at any of our farmers markets or through our online store. The Farm Card is simple, you come when you want and buy what you want.
The Farm Card cannot be exchanged for cash or refund.
